Presidio of Monterey Army Health Clinic does not provide after hours or emergency care.
During hours when the Presidio of Monterey Army Health Clinic is closed, patients should:
For life threatening emergencies proceed directly to the emergency room, or dial 911.

Patients seen at the Presidio of Monterey Army Health Clinic and assigned a Primary Care Manager can be seen for same day appointments. Service Members have priority. If a patient is unable to get an appointment with their PCM within a 24 hour period, the patient will be directed to an available provider on the PCM Team or alternate team for an acute appointment; or referred to a network provider.
Active Duty Family Members are now allowed two urgent care visits without an authorization per fiscal year. Active Duty Service Members (ADSMs) enrolled in TRICARE Prime are not eligible for this program. Patients are encouraged to call the Nurse Advice Line; 1-800-874-2273, option 1 to get an authorized referral to an urgent care clinic. By doing this, patients will not use one of their “referral-free” two urgent care visits for the fiscal year.
