Appointments & Referrals

What are my healthcare options?

1. PRIMARY CARE: Call 800-404-4506 or logon to patientportal.mhsgenesis.health.mil to schedule an acute, routine, preventative, or readiness appointment with your primary care manager.

2. SICK CALL: Service-Members only. Show up to the clinic, building 422, by 0600 M-F (except Federal holidays), to be evaluated by the medical staff if you have an acute injury or illness that you need evaluated and treated.

3. NURSE ADVICE LINE: Available 24/7. Contact the Nurse Advice Line to receive recommendations for the most appropriate level of care, schedule an appointment, or get an online "absence excuse" or "sick slip". 1-800-TRICARE (874-2273)

4. URGENT CARE: Active-Duty must have a referral to avoid being billed. If you need acute services and we are unable to assist, you may go to any urgent care for evaluation.

5. EMERGNECY ROOM: Go to any Emergency Room for care and present your ID card. No referral is needed. Emergency Rooms are for Emergencies.

Directions

The Patient Centered Medical Home is the U.S. Army Health Main Clinic, located on the Presidio of Monterey. From Bolio Road and Lighthouse Avenue, enter the Presidio of Monterey through the Bolio Gate. Continue to Army Street and turn left. Continue to Kit Carson Road and turn right. On Kit Carson Road continue to Cabrillo Street and turn left. The Presidio of Monterey Army Health Clinic is in Building 422 and located at 473 Cabrillo Street.
