The California Medical Detachment offers conventional prescription filling pharmacy services, at the Presidio of Monterey. 

Our expertly trained pharmacists and friendly staff take pride in providing fast and courteous service to ensure your pharmacy experience exceeds expectations. 

Details on Prescriptions, Pick-up, Refills, & More:

• Prescriptions are not activated ahead of time until the patient checks in with pharmacy or calls the pharmacy to activate them.
• Refills can be requested by calling the refill line at 707-423-7600 OR refilled on the MHS Genesis Portal only if you have refills remaining.
• Please allow up to 72 business hours for pick-up, as some medication may need to be ordered in.
• If you have no refills remaining, you must contact your provider through the MHS Genesis Portal or primary care provider. Prescriptions must be sent electronically to DOD Monterey by the provider.
• Pharmacy dispensing window is open daily until 4 p.m. to pick up previously processed prescriptions and called-in refills.
